Diane E. Palmer is trained through the Michael Harner National Foundation of Shamanic Studies. She has received extensive shamanic training through D. Robinson, shamanic healer, and holds an advanced certificate in Shamanism through the foundation.

Diane also holds a diploma in Herbal Studies from the Australasian College of Herbal Studies, and a diploma in Chinese Medicine I & II from the International Congress of Oriental Medicine.

Diane is also a registered hypnotherapist with the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists, and is a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator (HBCE) affiliated with the HypnoBirthing Institute.

Diane is the mother of six children, and grandmother of three. Two grandchildren are Hypnobabies, born through HypnoBirthing - The Mongan Method.
